Alta's wide variety of terrain, breathtaking alpine scenery, and superb snow conditions combine to create a unique setting for unforgettable experiences with family, friends, and the mountain itself. Alta continues to offer a Utah skiing-only experience. It is with great pride that we note our AltaSnowbird skiing has ranked as #1 in the United States by SKIING Magazine for 5 years.

* All ski products will be loaded on the Alta Card, which has a RFID (radio frequency identification) chip embedded in it to allow access through entry gates to the lifts. Once you have skied Alta and received your Alta Card, you are part of our family! The Alta Card allows you to reload your skiing either from your computer or at any of our ticket windows. As long as you keep your card, you will pay less for your skiing all season long!

Join a Forest Host for an enjoyable complimentary 45-minute guided program down friendly terrain Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays at 1:30 pm.

Nordic Skiing
Come and check out classic or skate skiing on our 5 km groomed track. Track tickets are available at the Wildcat ticket office for $10. We have a full line of Nordic, Alpine, and snowshoe gear to rent or buy. Alta Ski Shop also provides Nordic instruction.

Snow Cat Skiing
Alta is excited to offer guided snow cat skiing and boarding* in Grizzly Gulch. After an orientation and Continental breakfast, board the heated cabin of our custom snow cat for the ride to the top of Grizzly Gulch—an elevation of 10,500 feet. This unique guided off-trail skiing adventure takes skiers and boarders on runs with an average 1,500-foot vertical drop on approximately 325 acres. Your group may consist of any combination of up to 11 skiers and snowboarders and 2 guides. Snow cat skiing is for advanced and expert skiers and riders with strong off-trail skiing skills and experience. Powder skis are recommended. 5 Runs $275 per person. Lodging
Many skiers prefer the romance and convenience of staying right at the base of the lifts in one of Alta's unique lodging or condominium properties, knowing they are steps away from skiing the next morning. Alta's lodging community is made up of 5 ski-in/ski-out lodges and a variety of condominiums and private home rentals. Each of the lodges offers a full breakfast and dinner as part of their lodging package. On Mountain Dining
Alf's Restaurant
Cafeteria serving lunch and snacks. Located mid-mountain off the Collins lift.

Watson Shelter & Collins Grill
Alta's Watson Shelter is built near the Angle Station of the Collins lift. The building consists of 3 levels with plenty of deck space for outdoor dining and offers an extensive cafeteria. In preserving the Collins Grill fine dining experience, the Watson also offers an area for private dining.

Albion Grill
Cafeteria serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Located at the Albion Base.

Slope Side Cafe
Offering daily breakfast specials and a hearty lunch special. Located at the Wildcat Base inside Goldminer's Daughter Lodge.

All are open for lunch. For evening dining, all 5 of Alta's lodges are open for dinner by reservation. The Shallow Shaft is open nightly.
